Current Need Highlight-
Foster Teen Wishlist Fundraiser

Hello, I am Liliana, the 15-year-old founder and president of The Do Better Initiative!

As a teen myself, this program is so incredibly important to me, since I can understand the struggles of being a teenager. Being a teen in foster care is hard as it is, but adding in the factor of having your own children things are certainly not easy. These teens and young adults still deserve to experience the joy of the holiday season, and get to surprise their own child with Christmas magic!

All gifts have been purchased and dropped off, but we still urgently need your help. We had a few amazing donors who purchased and donated, but most of these presents were bought directly by The Do Better Initiative to make sure no teen was left out, and now we have a funding gap to close. Every dollar donated goes straight toward covering the cost of the gifts already wrapped and ready, so these teens can wake up to a Christmas that says: you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.

together,
we do Better

The Do Better Initiative Corporation's three core programs empower communities through health, education, and youth support, uniting Texas and global partners for lasting change.

A group of young women in school uniforms, wearing denim jackets and fuzzy jackets, stand closely together holding papers titled "Period Kit Instructions." The setting appears to be a classroom with a chalkboard in the background. One young girl in the foreground is hugging a purple period kit and beaming, while the papers include colorful illustrations and text, providing educational information.

Our 2025 impact Goals
